How to Apply

One CNIC-based application, four clear stages, and support at every step. Here's exactly what to expect.

The process

From registration to award

Register on the student portal

Create your account at the Zabtec student portal using your CNIC. Verify your email and phone number to secure your profile.

Complete your single profile

Enter your personal, academic and financial details once. The portal automatically identifies every program you're eligible for — no need to apply to each separately.

Upload documents

Attach clear scans of your CNIC, transcripts, admission letter and, for need-based tracks, your income proof. The portal flags anything missing before you submit.

Submit & track

Review and submit. You'll receive a confirmation and can follow your application status live — received, under assessment, shortlisted, or awarded.

Assessment & verification

Zabtec scores merit and need against published criteria and verifies documents with your institution. Shortlisted applicants may be asked for an interview or clarification.

Award & disbursement

Successful applicants receive an award letter. Tuition and stipends are disbursed on the published schedule, and your mentor and support services are activated.

Key dates

An indicative cycle calendar.

Exact dates are announced for each program. Cycles typically follow this rhythm — set a reminder so you never miss a window.

Applications go live

The portal opens and required documents are published.

Submission window

Complete and submit your application before the deadline.

Assessment

Scoring, verification and shortlisting take place.

Awards announced

Award letters issued and disbursement scheduled.

Tips for a strong application

Apply early — don't wait for the deadline. Use clear, legible scans. Double-check your CNIC and bank details. Keep your phone and email active for verification.
